Overview
Get an overall understanding of how healthcare organisations prepare for their future by formulating and implementing strategies. You'll take an analytical perspective, critically studying conventional and emergent strategic management models and tools as a management discipline. You'll gain practical exposure to strategy development at the business level and corporate level.
As a result, you'll develop your competence to analyse a healthcare organisation's internal and external environment. This analysis will be used to develop strategies to exploit the opportunities the external environment creates while dealing with its threats. We'll also cover strategic innovation and entrepreneurship in healthcare.
